Located at an altitude of 6091 m; it is considered one of the easier climbing peaks among the trekking peak in the Annapurna region. Pisang Peak Climbing rises opposite of Annapurna II (7937 m); lying roughly in between the giants’ Annapurna I and Manaslu both over eight thousand’s mountain. Since it lies on the way to the highest pass of the world “Throng La Pass”; thus considered as one of the technical climbing peaks that offer very good scope for exploration. Furthermore, it rises above from Pisang village and yak pastures at high elevation in a uniform slope of ice and snow to the final summit pyramid.
Climbing involves trekking in the famous Annapurna region and summit of Pisang Peak. The peak will be an ideal adventure for those who are eager to take a journey into some of the less trodden remote regions of Nepal. Apart from regular trekking routes, one can have an adventurous climbing experience. The summit of the Pisang Peak offers excellent views of the Gangapurna, Manaslu, Annapurna I, II, IV, III; Lamjung Himal and other smaller peaks. Trekkers with little experience in climbing can combine Pisang peak climbing with the popular classic Annapurna circuit trek to have the taste of climbing in Himalayan in Nepal.
