Mardi Himal, newly explored short trek is a spectacular trip to the eastern part of Annapurna region. Situated at the Base Camp of stirring Machhapuchre Himal (Fishtail) and east of one of the most legendary trekking destination Annapurna Base Camp; Mardi Himal trek is an unseen gem that covers some of the hidden landscape of the Annapurna and exhilarating glacial valleys. The trek is similar with Karbakeli Trek, which is another famous trek in Annapurna Himalayan Range. Choosing this trek means going through small winding paths, miraculous rhododendron forest at an elevation around 3,300 meters. If you are short in time and in search of a trekking that requires minimum efforts and costs; then, Mardi Himal trek is a right trek for you.
It goes through the old stone built villages and finally, at 3,580m, you will reach the highest point which offers extraordinary views of mountains. One can see the views of Mardi Himal, Machapuchre, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, Hiunchuli and many other mountains.
