Lobuche Peak Climbing

Lobuche Peak, a stunning peak situated in the Khumbu region above the Lobuche village has two main peaks; Lobuche Far East (6,119 m) and Lobuche East (6,145 m). This peak is near to the world’s highest Mountain Mount Everest. Lobuche East is an attractive summit with obtainable routes and new opportunities; thus, identified as a trekking peak whereas the west – recognized as an Expedition. From the peak, you get amazing views of Everest alongside Nuptse, Lhotse, Pumori and Ama Dablam. Furthermore, Lobuche Peak Climbing is suitable to collect the necessary experience for those who plan to go on a high mountain expedition in future.

Lobuche East Peak Climbing can also be combined with Everest Base Camp Trek which provides excellent panoramic views of Everest along with other high mountains. As it is located in the Everest region it attracts climbers and trekkers all around the world by its natural beauty. The normal route for climbing Lobuche is through South Ridge.

Lobuche Peak Climbing is considered as one of the most difficult peaks in Nepal for climbing. Hence, the climb includes some technical difficulties on quite steep snow slopes and one should possess some ice skills and use of fixed ropes for climbing along a steep, vertical and snowy trail. Similarly, because of rocky ascend with snow this peak demands a very good experience in snowy peak climbing. Lobuche Peak Climbing Equipment 

You will be carrying all of your gear and share some of the cluster gear. Keeping your pack light is important, so choose light-weight clothing and equipment. Be sure to have a range of clothing suitable for all conditions. Sudden change of weather may require layering of clothing. Three layers will meet your needs. Avoid cotton or fabrics that do not maintain heat cold. Comfortable durable wool or  proven fabrics that breathe and expel sweat lends itself to an additional pleasant experience.  

We will offer complimentary waterproof windproof duffle bags that you will use on your trek, the bag carried by porters. Your bags or suitcase are left in the hotel with your non trekking requirements at our office or your hotel and you can collect them after you return from your trip. 

All equipment, such as base camp tents, room, accessories, climbing rope, ice screws, snow bar and ice hammer is provided by Great Panorama Treks and Expedition (P.) Ltd.

Itinerary


Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu.

We meet you in the airport while you arrive here in Kathmandu and in the evening we take you for a welcome dinner, meet with your trip leader and briefing by your trip leader about your trip and stay in Nepal.

Day 2 Kathmandu free day.

If you bring yourself all your climbing gear from your home then we check here what you have and if you don’t have we help you to find it or we help you to organize those things in Dingboche. We make your climbing permit before your arrival here in Nepal so we also handover your climbing permit.

Day 3 Flight to Lukla then trek to Phakding

Early morning flight from Kathmandu or Manthali by Tara air, Summit air or Sita air to Lukla and Trek to Phakding. 

 

Day 4 Phakding – Namche Bazaar, 5 - 6 hrs of walk.

Early morning after breakfast, a challenging walk up to Namche bazaar through the Dudh Kosi valley Monjo,Jorsalle crossing Hillary bridge then get Namche Bazaar.  

 

Day 5 Namche Bazaar Acclimatization day.

Acclimatization day in Namche hike up to Everest view point, Khumjung village, Khunde village then back to Namche. Also we take you to the museum if you are intrested. 

 

Day 6 Namche Bazaar - Tengboche, 6 - 7 hrs of walk.

Trek to Tengbuche via Sanasa, Laisasa and PhungiTanga takes 4.5 hours to Tengbuche today. Also you can see the views of Everest, Amadablam, Thamserku Khangteka and many more.

Day 7 Tengboche – Dingbuche, 5 - 6 hrs of the walk.

Trekking in a very easy way today we can see mt. Everest, Lotshe, Amadablam, Thamserku and many more. All the way from Somare and Worshow village to Dingbuche Sherpa village. 

Day 8 Dingbuche Acclimatization day

Acclimatization day at Dingboche and trek climb up to Nakartsang peak nearly 5,600 meter and back to Dingboche.   

 

Day 9 Trekking to Labuche

Trek to Lobuche all the way to Everest Base Camp Trekking track and via Dugla Thukla village and today you will see very closely Lobuche peak which you are going to summit in a few days.  

 

Day `10 Trek to Lobuche High Camp

In Lobuche again recheck all your climbing gear with your climbing guide and after breakfast we take you to Lobuche high camp for a Lobuche attempt the next morning. Today we need to spend something like a few hours in a tent. 

Day 11 Climbing Lobuche peak

Early in the morning we climbed Lobuche Peak. After the summit attempt we come back to High camp and repack all our gear then we trek down to Pheriche or if you want to go Everest base camp then we trek all the way up to Gorak Shep. 

 

Day 12 Trek back to Namche

Trekking back to Namche Bazaar and celebrating time in Namche. 

 

Day 13 Trek to Lukla

Trek to Lukla all the way down after breakfast and this is your last night in the Himalaya. 

 

Day 14 Flight to Kathmandu

Flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla there is sometime we need to take flight to Manthali while big air traffic in Kathmandu airport so normally in busy season time we must fly Manthlai- Lukla- Manthali it’s flight takes 15 minutes then drive to Kathmandu around 4-5 hours.
