Pachermo Peak Climbing

Pachermo peak 6187 m lies south of the Tashi Lapcha; when seen from the pass the mountain is really attractive. Challenging and difficult trekking peak in Rolwaling Himalaya region. It is a straightforward snow peak first climbed in 1955 along a well defined north-by-northwest ridge rising from a relatively flat. But crevassed, the glacier that is still the main route to the summit. The Rolwaling valley is the main access to Pachermo there some very popular trekking trail also you may like Tso Rolpa Lake Trek.

Pachermo Climbing

We climb north-east of the ice-fall of Teshi Lapcha, setting up a high camp just below rock walls at 5,500 m. From this camp, we gain the ridge of Pacharmo peak climbing. Following it without much difficulty – but watching for crevasses which can cause problems near the summit. The approach trek to Pachermo Peak in the Rolwaling Mountain leads through a region which has remained untouched by western civilization; groups of trekkers are not often seen, even in the peak trekking seasons. The scenery is outstanding, the route leads along beautiful river valleys; before emerging in the high alpine country; there are excellent views of Gaurisankar, Melungtse, and many other great peaks. Crossing the Teshi Laptsa pass is challenging; calls for some mountaineering experience for your next dream to be on 7,000 to 8,000 Expedition.

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel and briefing about the trip.
Day 2 Preparation for Papchermo Peak Climbing and excursion around Kathmandu.
Day 3 Drive from Kathmandu to Gongar Khola.
Day 4 Trek to Simigaun.
Day 5 Trek to Dongkhang.
Day 6 Trek to Beding.
Day 7 Trek to Naa Gaun.
Day 8 Acclimatization day.
Day 9 Trek to Chhugima.
Day 10 Trek to Jaboo Glacier.
Day 11 Trek to Pachermo Pass, Tashi Fuk Base Camp.
Day 12 Ascent to Pachermo Peak and back to base camp.
Day 13 Trek to Thyangbo.
Day 14 Trek to Thame Sherpa village.
Day 15 Trek to Namche.
Day 16 Trek to Lukla.
Day 17 Flight back to Kathmandu.
