Short Mera Peak Climbing 

Embark on an exhilarating adventure with our 10-12 day short Mera expedition. If you only have around 8-9 days available, it is also possible to climb this amazing peak. After reaching the summit, we will take you down to Khare, and the next day, we can arrange for a helicopter to take you to Lukla. On the same day, you can catch a flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla. For the helicopter fare, please contact us before you reach Khare so that we can make the necessary arrangements for your helicopter transport.

Answer: We do not have specific dates as we customize the trip according to the client’s preferences. We are flexible with the time and date. However, for groups of 2-3 people, we can offer a better price. For solo travelers, the cost will be higher.

Question 2: What is the cost of the helicopter fare for the return trip from Khare to Lukla?

Answer: The helicopter cost is $1450 and can be divided among a group of people. For solo travelers, the cost is comparatively higher.

Answer: There are no specific climbing qualifications required for the Mera Peak Climbing expedition, but participants should be proficient hikers and trekkers. We provide training before reaching Mera Peak High Camp in Khare, where everyone learns climbing skills.

Itinerary

Day 1 Flight to Lukla and trek to Chhutanga.
Day 2 Trek to Chhatra La Pass and Chhatrabu
Day 3 Trek Chhatrabu to Kothe.
Day 4 Trek Kothe to Thangnak.
Day 5 Trek Thangnak to Khare.
Day 6 Acclimatization day at khare.
Day 7 Trek up to Mera La- High camp.

Today is hard day for you you will take to Mera high camp (5,780 m) with all your kitchen crew, climbing guide and your porter. Mera high camp i s nice and small place but somehow you can get place because your climbing guide will booked for you and he will manage everything for that. Overnight sleep in tent and camping food.

Day 8 Mera summit and trek to Khare.

Early morning around 2 AM your climbing guide and kitchen crew wakeup and prepare for you hot tea, coffee and breakfast  for you and you guide will take you checking climbing gear and climb start for mera peak and after summit you need to go back to Khare today is bit long day for you. After ascent Mera peak and descent Khare you can celebrate for successful party in Khare with your team.

Day 9  Trek back to Kothe.
Day 10 Trek back to Chhatarbu
Day 11 Trek down to Lukla
Day 12 Flight back to Manthali Ramechhap.
